letter to FCC on NII BandOn 11/02/95, NTIA sent a letter to the FCC
regarding petitions by Wireless Information Networks Forum (WINForum) and
Apple Computer Co., Inc. requesting allocation of spectrum for nonlicensed
personal radio network devices. In this letter, the NTIA urges the Commission
to proceed with a rulemaking on the NII Band.
